More starting & transitioning with round braids (herringbone) of 12 strands

This one is 6 strands folded in half.  My lengths are not very long on it, but it’s 12 strands off the the triangle loop.

Phase 1

On this you can see my preferred method of organizing the strands into 4 clusters to start it off.  There are 3 strands per cluster in this one.


Phase 2

This is 6 strands on the left, with 5 on the right and the 6th finishing strand on the right about to be finished.


Side view of the round braid.  You can see after the start, there are 6 locked down along the front (top in this picture that would be the left side if the braid was held like the previous pictures), then 5 on the back (bottom in this picture – which wraps around to form the right side if the braid was held like in the first few pictures).
